Life at Grunley

When you join Grunley’s team, you will experience firsthand a culture of support and respect. We welcome and encourage healthy conversations within our walls, on each jobsite, and between ourselves and all project stakeholders. Grunley operates with a perspective that people come first - we host a plethora of employee events throughout the year, welcome employee feedback through surveys, and conduct bi-annual professional development plan meetings.

How We Gather

Social Events

We believe that coming together helps to build a strong sense of community and engagement. Whether it’s the Annual Address and Awards Program we’ve been looking forward to all year or a more informal gathering for a cornhole tournament at the once, we strive to create moments that bring our people together to celebrate our collective success and build long-lasting, collegial bonds.

Project Milestones

A large part of our company culture is ensuring that everyone on our team feels valued and recognized. Throughout the year, we organize events that celebrate the achievement of significant milestones on our jobsites like groundbreaking, topping out and ribbon-cutting ceremonies.

Community Service

Grunley offers ample opportunities for community service, which is an integral part of our corporate culture. We partner with local affinity organizations that support various communities.

Grow with us

Career Advancement

Whether you are looking to add the next steppingstone on your resume or an entirely new experience, Grunley offers career advancement opportunities at every level. Our bi-annual professional development plan meetings place you in the driver's seat, allowing for constructive feedback, learning opportunities, and setting clear benchmarks to achieve your short and long-term career goals.

Employee Empowerment Groups

Our Employee Empowerment Groups (EEGs) foster an environment where all our employees can grow through inclusiveness and empowerment. These groups meet on a regular basis to provide social activities, learning opportunities, professional development, community service, and much more. They also serve as resources to help keep our leadership engaged with the voices each group represents. Our EEGs include the Women in Construction Group, College Recruiting Committee, Wellness Committee, and Corporate Social Responsibility Committee, among others.
