On Thursday, November 7th, Grunley’s Social Responsibility Committee organized a service opportunity at the Capital Area Food Bank—the organization leading our region’s efforts to provide equitable access to food and support for those facing hunger and food insecurity. Each year, the Capital Area Food Bank sources and distributes over 50 million meals to nearly half a million residents in need. Our group of six volunteers contributed by sorting and packing sweet potatoes into distribution boxes.
