Design-Build HVAC Retrofit
Grunley served as the contractor for the HVAC retrofit of the FDIC's 550 17th Street NW building. The 260,000 square foot building was originally constructed in 1962 and includes seven stories above ground and a basement parking garage with two access ramps. During this phased, occupied modernization, all of the existing HVAC systems were replaced including ductwork, the roof top unit (RTU) and variable air volume (VAV) boxes.
