Letterkenny Army Depot Access Control Point

Grunley has been awarded a $32.3M task order contract with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Baltimore District, to construct a new primary Access Control Point (ACP) at the Letterkenny Army Depot in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania. The new ACP is designed to address security gaps at the existing facility while providing the infrastructure needed to manage heavy industrial traffic. Once complete, it will ensure proper access control and inspection of commercial vehicles, privately owned vehicles, and deliveries. It will also support the processing of specialized equipment and materials, accommodate increased traffic from facility consolidations within the LEAD perimeter, and redirect transportation flow away from the central production zone to improve safety and efficiency. The scope of work will include new construction of major utility infrastructure, roadways, fencing, inspection facilities, and surrounding hardscape and landscaping. This project will be performed as a task order under Grunley’s $499M USACE Baltimore District IDIQ MATOC.
