Potomac Annex Building No. 5
Potomac Annex Building No. 5
Renovation
Grunley renovated Building 5 on the Potomac Annex Complex. This project is one of several that GSA administered to create additional office space for a Federal tenant. The project created approximately 18,500 square feet of office space with open and closed offices, building circulation and infrastructure support. In addition, the work included hazardous materials abatement; selective demolition; architectural and structural improvements; replacement of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems; and installation of new telecommunications, sprinkler and fire alarm systems. Select historic restoration was also performed. Grunley implemented and maintained sustainable construction processes throughout the duration of the project. All work was performed without impeding access to adjacent residences and other Federal buildings.
