Potomac Annex Buildings No. 3 and 4

Renovations

Grunley completed this 50,300 gross square foot renovation that included both open and closed offices, support spaces and building circulation and infrastructure support for a Federal tenant. The scope of work also included architectural, mechanical, electrical and telecommunications systems as well as elevator construction renovation work. The building exterior was protected and restored, as the building is located in a designated Historic District. The project required Grunley to meet environmental performance goals for the project, including the use of recycled materials, locally-manufactured materials, low-emitting materials, certified wood products, and waste recycling as well as the implementation of a construction indoor air quality management plan. Grunley also completed the renovation of Potomac Annex Building No. 5 on the same campus.
