Virginia Military Institute Center for Leadership & Ethics, Phase II and Parking Structure

Grunley has been awarded an $89.9 million contract with the Virginia Military Institute (VMI) to build Phase II of the Center for Leadership and Ethics project in Lexington, Virginia. The project scope involves construction of a 66,144 SF, multi-story facility located on the northwest corner of the VMI Post. The new facility will feature state-of-the-art classrooms, a 150-seat auditorium, collaborative spaces, the VMI museum, interactive learning areas, as well as office, storage, catering, and support spaces. Additionally, a multi-level parking structure accommodating 425 vehicles will be built adjacent to the facility, and the existing Marshall Hall parking lot will be replaced with a traffic circle, pedestrian walkways, and green spaces to improve campus aesthetics and connectivity.
