Grunley Attends JADOC Phase 2 Ribbon Cutting
On Thursday, November 7th, Grunley was pleased to attend the ribbon cutting ceremony for our Joint Air Defense Operations Complex (JADOC) Phase II project at Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling, Washington, DC! The celebration included brief remarks from Major General Frank Rice, 263rd Army Air Missile Defense Command Commanding General; Colonel Ryan Price, Air and Missile Defense Task Force Commander; and Lieutenant Colonel Eric Miller, 223rd Air Defense Squadron Commander.

Vital to safeguarding the skies, JADOC’s command and control centers operate 24/7, relaying information about airspace and air defense around the nation’s capital. Established in the wake of 9/11, JADOC initially operated from multiple temporary locations. The $22.7 million project provides a new two-story 27,000 SF addition that nearly doubles the previous operations space, allowing JADOC to consolidate its functions and operate with state-of-the-art technologies. Congratulations to all those who contributed to the project’s success!
